A Little about myself...
Before I rant, let it be known that I trained with the greatest and BEST teachers ever - FACT.
Growing up, it was clear that I had a natural interest in the living world. As a young boy I used to catch insects and throw them in spiders webs in order to find the biggest one in the garden. It is no wonder that later on in life I went on to study Zoology at the University of Nottingham. After 3 fascinating years I left University not really knowing what to do next. I decided to head to Australia for a year and returned (after having an amazing time) having gained valuable work experience in just about everything (working as a waiter/barman, Office administration, construction site worker, landscape gardener and even 2 very smelly weeks in a rubbish tip). After all these experiences I decided that I wanted to not only help others but also try and stay within a scientific field. I trained as a Science / Specialist Biology teacher at Kings College London and have been teaching in London since 2003. This site, I hope, will both help guide you and inspire while you study your Science GCSEs and (if you so choose) A-Level Biology.
